After two of my friends had been married at Pembroke Lodge I was excited to be back here to shoot Emma & Jonathan’s wedding. This is easily my favourite wedding of the year so far. Ok, so it was only the second of the year, but everything about this wedding was perfect. The colours complimented the time of year beautifully and the speeches from stepdad, bride’s friend, groom and best man were outstanding. So much emotion and not an internet gag in sight!
Whilst this was Kissing Gate Film’s third outing with one of our favourite wedding photographers, Jay Rowden, it was my first and he was a true gentleman to work with. We also had the pleasure of the legendary Kaz Fernando’s company, who did an outstanding job on Emma’s make up.
Emma nailed it with her choice or flowers. I’d not seen orchids used as wedding flowers before and they fitted in perfectly with all the other wintry details she had chosen. She also did pretty well with her choice of dress – a Vera Wang beaut that she picked up with a hefty discount.
We knew as soon as this wedding video was finished that it needed to be shared with Rock My Wedding readers – and they loved it as much as us.
We have since become good friends with Emma, and she’s not shy in telling us she was forced into getting a wedding video against her will. Now she loves it more than anything and can’t believe she wasn’t going to have one. We’ve asked her to kindly spread the word to all those brides that can’t make their mind up about it!!
I absolutely loved this wedding and everybody involved in the day, enough said…
